On the outskirts of a small town, a bus driver and her passengers encounter highway bandits. "Bus 44" carries a universal theme that crosses all boundaries and societies, exploring the best and worst sides of human behavior.

A man climbs to the top of an 8849m mountain, carrying the Korean flag and a Polaroid camera. His only goal is to prove that he reached the mountain peak, but his life is threatened as he battles to overcome fierce winds and blinding snow.

Uncle Bar at the Barbershop (dir Kwon Jong-kwan, 22 min., 35mm)

During the early eighties in Seoul, sexual prejudice and violence were common. In a small barbershop on the outskirts of the city, however, a middle-aged barber treats all of his clients with dignity, until a sexual innuendo threatens to disrupt the peace in this quiet town.
