Eric Hattler’s background combines business, law and deal making. Eric most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel of Gores Technology Group, a Los Angeles-based acquisition and management group focused on the computer software, hardware and technology industries, where he was responsible for negotiating and executing the group’s transactions, as well as overseeing the group’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Gores Technology Group, Eric was an attorney with the law firm Riordan & McKinzie in Los Angeles, California specializing in financial and strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings and financings. He formerly worked in the Business Affairs department at New Line Cinema, where he was involved in a variety of film acquisition, development and production deals. Prior to New Line, Eric was a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, where he assisted clients with strategic and operational issues. Eric also worked in independent film production in New York City.

Eric holds JD and MBA degrees from the University of Chicago and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College.
