Carol Crowe has over 14 years of experience in film and television acquisition, distribution, marketing, development and production.

Prior to forming Apollo Cinema, Carol was President of MoviCorp Holdings, where she oversaw the company’s day-to-day operations. Carol was responsible for the distribution and marketing of the company’s product, as well as the acquisition, production and packaging of new projects.

Carol came to MoviCorp from Pierre David’s Image Organization, where she was head of acquisitions and marketing. While at Image, she acquired genre-driven films for co-production and international distribution, securing foreign distribution rights for projects in all stages of development. Carol oversaw the creation of all marketing materials for Image, including key art campaigns, advertising and trailers for more than 25 feature films. She also coordinated Image’s participation in the major international film markets - Cannes, Mifed and AFM - where she met with distributors to develop marketing strategies for the international marketplace.

Prior to joining Image, Carol was Manager of Production at Aaron Spelling Productions. She began her career in New York, where she worked with writers Erica Jong, Arthur Miller and Landford Wilson, as well as producer Linda Yellen at Kushner-Locke. She also worked in feature film and television production in New York and Los Angeles.

Carol received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Radio-TV-Film from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas and completed graduate coursework in film production at New York University.
